ABOUT THE WORK

The Surface of Things meditates on the relationship between materials and minimal gestures.  Leather skin becomes a superficial bruise, a tactile indulgence, a distressed “thing” draped on cold surfaces that press onto each other with steel supports.  Surface becomes a gateway, an exteriority that protects.
